3D Scanning Sessions

Megan Young is 3D scanning participants and heirloom objects as part of her creative research into care-based practices within emerging technologies. Come to the the Eskenazi School of Art’s Open Studio Event on Friday, October 7th from 5-7pm to see her work-in-progress and learn how photogrammetry, LiDAR, and AI image processing support the preservation of cultural heritage. Participants are invited to bring an object passed down through their family (or one that reminds them of family), book an appointment for a full body scan, and discuss future extensions of this work.
