Deep Play, Dark Play

The Deep Play Dark Play Performance Salon at the iFell highlights works from local artists pushing the bounds of performance and poetry. The series fosters community and dialogue around text and performance, through a cross-pollination across genres and mediums. Megan Young will present excerpts from ‘To Be Two’ developed through a socially engaged residency with the Chicago Cultural Center. The work draws from Luce Irigaray’s writing on gender and sexuality, while extending those concepts through an interactive performance directed by audience.
