Coding Choreography Notation

Megan Young will join a working group exploring methods for devising choreographic scores with p5.js at Virginia Commonwealth University this fall. The research project is directed by Kate Sicchio, Ph.D. (Associate Professor of Dance and Media Technologies in the Department of Dance + Choreography; Assistant Professor of Kinetic Imaging at VCU). Sicchio developed p5.score, a choreographic library for p5, and is field testing the repository with a range of creative producers. See more about the library and workshop developments here.
